The Sacred Heart Collective: An Effective Use of a Closed School?

This report documents the experiences of the Sacred Heart Collective, a group of nonprofit agencies that moved their offices into the former Sacred Heart School, and of community users of the school's facilities since September 2003. The Collective was a pilot initiative that allowed for a broad-based segment of the community to access space for a range of activities free of charge. This evaluation summarizes the experiences of Collective members and the unique community initiative undertaken by the Collective.
