Oliver Kamau is originally from Kenya and came to Canada 15 years for graduate studies. He has B.A. (English and Literature), post-graduate diploma in Education, (Kenya) and M.A in Drama (University of Alberta). He was a high school teacher before relocating to Canada. Oliver is passionate about issues of anti-racism, anti-oppression, poverty, identity politics and multicultural issues. He has worked at Centre for Race and Culture (CRC) and now works as the Regional Coordinator for In-School & Library Settlement Services with Edmonton Immigrant Services Association.
